Jon's background in the mortgage and real estate industry began when he got his bachelor's degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduation, Jon worked in the commercial real estate industry where he focused on asset management and real estate development.
In 2000, Jon became a Wisconsin Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, and in 2003, he received his Wisconsin Loan Originator License adding to his understanding of the real estate and mortgage industries.

Adding to his background, Jon has served in the United States Air Force and Wisconsin Air National Guard for the past 18 years. He also spends time fundraising for the Special Olympics and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund – two charities that are very important to him.
